Biography
Disha has vast exposure in the development sector, especially to causes related to women and children. With a master’s in Marketing and banking sector background, she chose to restart her career after a long back by volunteering, a part-time job and then graduating full-time. Her experience includes program management, training and development, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. She has worked with organisations in remedial education, maternal and child healthcare, child sexual abuse and public health. She is a mentor at SHEROES for Google’s women’s entrepreneurship program. She consults startups for business planning and growth.
She is a public speaker and voices her opinion on entrepreneurship, back to work, diversity and inclusion and gender rights.
Besides her mainstream work, she is an endurance athlete and long-distance cyclist who believes sports can transform any human being. She is a dance movement therapy practitioner and conducts sessions for all population types
